The climbing goats of Southern Morocco

Just over the fence at "Les Pierres Sauvage" our temporary home in Morocco a shepherdess from the local village would let her herd of goats roam around. The unique thing about these goats is they climb. The argan tree is unique to this area and produces "Argan oil". Used widely in Moroccan cooking it has a unique nutty taste. The local goats have taken a like to the Argan tree and have adapted to climbing these trees to get to the tasty top branches for their snack.

Belly Dancing

We finally found the right belly dancing outfit. Latifa the fantastic host at the Riad L'Orientale found the music and Allanah began her first foray into belly danicing...

Visiting the kasbah where the Movie Babel was filmed with Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett

The kasbah is located in Taguenzalt, a berber village at the foot hills of the Atlas Mountains in the Draa Valley. With money from tourist they are now rebuilding and restoring the kasbah.
