The Skoura trek

It might not look scary in this photo but the river's current was running quite fast as Lucas, Thomas, John and Allanah had to cross the log one by one...

A walk and mule ride through the Skoura palmeries

There were some steep climbs and we had to cross the river to trek through the palmeries in Skoura. The valley has quite a strong river running through as there had been floods in the area a week before we arrived. We witnessed a village with major damage right through the centre as the water had gushed down the mountain and thruogh the village taking roads, houses and everything with it.
